Our senior clinicians have over 35 years of combined experience. They have received expert, advanced level training training directly from treatment developers Edna Foa, Ph.D., Thomas Lynch, Ph.D., and Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. Our senior clinicians are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care by continuing their education and training.
Our talented clinical team includes master’s level clinicians. They are fully licensed and have each received post graduate trainings in the specialty treatments they offer.
Our registered interns have completed their master’s degree and are working towards full licensure. They are in the process of attending post graduate trainings and are in supervision with one of our more experienced clinicians.
In an effort to continue developing quality clinicians, Tampa Bay DBT works with students. These students are working towards their master’s degree and are under the supervision of one of our clinicians. They have made a commitment to learn specialty treatments and remain with us for a minimum of one year. Because they are early in the learning process screening is required by a senior clinician prior to seeing student interns.
Our specialty programs include weekly skill group programming. Each skills group is run by a Senior Clinician. The skills group fee is $50 per session.
We do not accept insurance and would be considered an out-of-network provider. We are happy to give you with detailed receipts if you choose to file for reimbursement with your insurance company. You may want to check with your insurance first to see if you have out-of-network mental health benefits.
At times, insurance companies are willing to offer additional coverage for our specialty DBT and Radically Open DBT programs. You may call your insurance company to enquire if they will create a ‘single-case-agreement.’
HSA, FSA, cash, check and all major credit cards are all accepted as forms of payment. We collect payment at the time of service.
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
